A most important asset to our company, since she started with us in 2000, Ilene has surpassed more than $8 million in sales, meeting or exceeding her quotas each year.”

According to Baron, Youngblood’s success has been the result of “the quality and effectiveness of the Spirit Incentives products, as well as her knowledge of these products and the industries she serves. Ilene’s amazing organizational and follow-up skills and her tenacity create the winning combination when backed by our corporate support and training.”

Explains Youngblood, “We aren’t interested in merely selling a piece of paper. Our intention is to provide assistance with staff training and inventory management and to ensure that each incentive is successful and ultimately results in their customers enjoying a positive experience. Our gift and travel certificates are not intended to replace a company’s marketing efforts but to help them increase every dollar they invest in their marketing campaigns.”

During her early years with the company, Youngblood worked extensively within sales in a number of vertical markets. In the past year, her primary focus has been retaining, growing and increasing clients within the vacation ownership, club and tour marketing industries, where she has served major leading developers throughout North America. She is also a member of C.A.R.E. (Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers) and W.I.N. (Women in the Industry), a non-profit organization of women in the timeshare industry. Spirit Incentives is a corporate sponsor of W.I.N.

“Our timeshare incentives offer a variety of products designed to meet the expectations of many applications and work well for both large and small companies,” adds Youngblood. “Sales and marketing executives use them to generate tours through direct mail, telemarketing, OPC and in-house marketing departments sell mini-vacation packages to encourage referrals from owners. Incentives can be positioned as first-day incentives to encourage club renewals and the purchase of additional points or weeks, and more recently to encourage larger down payments and cash sales. We can provide an incentive to achieve just about every imaginable goal of developers.”

Prior to joining Spirit Incentives, Youngblood spent three years in sales with one of the leading timeshare development companies. Previously, the University of South Florida graduate spent nine years with American Paging, rising to executive levels with the company.
